Dubai, 24 October 2021 - Arcadia Education begins construction on their third school in Dubai. Expected to open in September 2023, the school located next to the Al Furjan metro station will be at an affordable fee level with premium facilities.
To commence construction a groundbreaking ceremony took place at the site with the Director General of the KHDA, Dr Abdulla Al Karam in attendance. Speaking at the ceremony Dr Abdulla Al Karam said: “We have seen every home with a school, but what we need is for every school to be a home”.
Arcadia Global School will follow the National Curriculum of England and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, with Foundation Stages 1,2 and Years 1-3 being the first to open in 2023. The Chairman of Arcadia, Mohan Valrani describes the new school as an “Arcadia ethos at a value price”.
The facilities of the school will include a semi-Olympic swimming pool, an astroturf football pitch and a Performing Arts centre. Giles Pruett, Executive Principal of the schools spoke of Arcadia Global and said: “We are absolutely delighted to commence this project at a pivotal time for education in the region. Arcadia Education has so much to offer children and we want this to be available to all families, regardless of their circumstances. We thank His Excellency Dr Al Karam for his support and that of the KHDA and are excited for the prospect of seeing the first students walk through the door in September 2023.”
