Dubai, 20th November 2021 - Arcadia welcomed the community to use their facilities, experience their curriculum and explore their values this weekend. At the Festival of Schools hosted by Arcadia, children of all ages had the opportunity to take part in the passport challenge, with an exciting prize at the end.
The passport challenge gave children the opportunity for hands-on, real world experiments, with a prize for everyone who manages to collect all the challenge stamps in their passport. Sheren Abbas, Chairwoman of APA (Arcadia Parents Association told Schools Compared: “My children have firstly enjoyed the challenges, they all wanted the passports to fill in … they were very happy to win the Arcadia branded pop it gadget at the end of it”.
The festival also included musical performances from Arcadia’s students, sports taster sessions, stalls run by Arcadia’s parent community and much more. A theme of sustainability ran through the event with talks from volunteer organisations like the Burj Al Arab Turtle rehabilitation and eco-friendly stalls hosted by organisations such as K9 Friends and Emirates Nature-WWF.
Arcadia’s Executive Principal, Giles Pruett said: “We really enjoyed being part of this experience and with over 650 visitors to the school, the vibe during the morning was electric.
