National Curriculum for England.
A modern, mastery-based curriculum that builds solid foundations for lifelong learning — nurturing well-rounded, articulate and confident 21st-century learners.
Solid foundations, built to last.
Presently, our schools offer the National Curriculum for England (NCfE) for primary and secondary education. Re-designed and modernised in 2014, it is based on the concept of mastery of core skills at each year level, building solid foundations for on-going learning.
The focus is on ensuring that core understanding and key skills are developed at each level across all subjects. Pupils working at a mastery level are extended to apply these understandings in purposeful, cross-curricular ways, employing a range of learning strategies.
Every subject, taught by specialists.
The NCfE curriculum covers the complete spectrum of subjects, designed to nurture confident, articulate 21st-century learners.
